Break off a thought,
just end it;
And then,
See what happens
before the next thought
springs up.
In that space,
in that interval…
What happens?

The only thing I have written about lately is bilirubin metabolism and biochemistry. However, when I am studying anatomy I am inclined to draw rather than write. I enjoy this, although it takes me forever.
Every Monday night I attend a live drawing session. It is a refereshing break to draw actual humans rather than cadavers and statues. It reminds me that humans are much more than the sum of their parts.
I enjoy watching myself improve, considering that a few weeks ago I was content with stick figures. I will scan more, and would love any constructive feedback.
Random fact: In the US federal 2012 Budget, the TSA gets $4,000,000,000 more than NASA’s space exploration activities.

for dreams.

We come to live on Earth.
As a weed we become
each springtime,
swell green, our hearts
open,
the body makes a few flowers
and drops away withered somewhere.

In all our haste and tribulations, space exploration has been abandoned, in a panic, to solve the pressing problems of Earth.
However, never before have we suffered such a lack of perspective that spawns fear and mal-judgement.
Space exploration is akin to a silent night under the stars, where we can suddenly see clearly and remember that all we have is each other, and this precious moment to do something amazing.
Make sure you watch all 9 parts. (p2, p3, p4, p5, p6, p7, p8, p9).

I think it is important to understand that freedom is at the beginning and not at the end. We think freedom is something to be achieved, that liberation is an ideal state of mind to be gradually attained through time, through various practices; but to me, this is a totally wrong approach. Freedom is not to be achieved; liberation is not a thing to be gained. Freedom, or liberation, is that state of mind which is essential for the discovery of any truth, any reality, therefore it cannot be an ideal; it must exist right from the beginning. Without freedom at the beginning, there can be no moments of direct understanding, because all thinking is then limited, conditioned. If your mind is tethered to any conclusion, to any experience, to any form of knowledge or belief, it is not free; and such a mind cannot possibly perceive what is truth.

Long after all the humans are gone, the ratio of a circles circumference to its diameter will keep all circles as brothers. Happy Pi Day! 3.14 (.2012).
